Husker Extra

This mid-size media client needed to build and launch the Husker Extra iOS/Android app within 3 months. This app serves the college athletic market with unique and fun content.

The client had used other outsourced vendors before, but those projects often did not work out well. They decided to give Augment a try after we were introduced to this client through a mutual colleague.

By using Augment, this client was able to launch the project within budget and on time. To make this happen this client and Augment had to work very closely together on requirements and the product vision. The client provided the vision and Augment executed on that vision.

More about the project: It is an iOS/Android mobile app built using React Native. This mobile app project was primarily a frontend project along with a Node server. The content for the app was pulled via API from an established application.

For Augment, we had 7 people including developers, designers, QA and a project manager. 5 of these team members were in our India office and 2 were in our USA office. The client’s team consisted of a product owner, marketing lead and a project manager among other team members.
